When the air-defense alarm sounds, all drivers must pull over to a safe place and exit their vehicles. All drivers, passengers, and pedestrians shall follow the guidance of the police, civil defense staff, or substitute military service members to conduct evacuation to the nearest air raid shelters. If no shelters are nearby, find a place to take cover. Groups, companies, factories (sites), or the public in the exercise area that do not comply with the orders as stipulated in Article 21 of the Civil Defense Act and Article 12 of the Implementing Regulation on Air-raid Practice may face fines ranging from NT$30,000 to NT$150,000 imposed by the government under Article 25 of the Civil Defense Act.
